Whiteshell-Laboratories
Whiteshell Laboratories
by Chris Saunders, Whiteshell History Committee
The first of two local history books is now available in print and it’s at the Library.  Whiteshell Laboratories is a history of “the plant,” as it’s known to locals.  It spans the years from the beginning in the 60s, through to the decommissioning project, full of stories from many who had a career with AECL.  Enjoy the photos and the memories!

If you’d like your own copy, this book is currently available for sale at the LGD of Pinawa office.  Or you can purchase it at amazon.ca.  There is also an online version with more content, and more colour pictures, than the printed book.  Find the online version on our website, following the links About Us and Local History.  There you will also find the online version of Pinawa: 50 years of Memories, Families and Friends by Chris Saunders and Louise Daymond, Pinawa History Committee.  The print version of this book will be available soon.
