Hats off to the 2017 Quiz Night winning team: Don & Louise Daymond, Ken McCallum, Andrew Chambers, Shelley McLean, Rhonwen Mikkelson, Amber & Ryan Bilinsky. This is the 3rd win for the ‘Dazed and Confused’ team, they’ve won on alternate years since 2013. Congrats also to Florence Vilks, winner of the Club/Diamond/Heart/Spade game and to Crystal Stanley, the True/False champ – her second time accomplishing this feat. J Horton was ecstatic to have his ticket drawn for the 50/50 prize. Maria Allan won the lovely wine/snack gift basket, thanks very much to Solo Market for donating this prize.

Our large print block of books has been recently refreshed so please drop by and browse the new titles!
Looking to get a start on your Christmas shopping? Of course you are. We have limited signed copies Gerald Kuehl’s fantastic book, Portraits of the North, on sale at the library for $35.00! Perfect for under the tree.
Don’t be alarmed! The library doesn’t look like this, but you might notice some disruption over the next few weeks as we move things around in anticipation of our new shelving. There is method to our madness and all of the books will still be easily found. Please bear with us during this short period of reorganization.
Please note that the library will be closed on Sunday, October 8, 2017 and Monday, October 9, 2017 for the Thanksgiving weekend.
