What a turn out! The library would like to say a big thank you to all of the people that came out on Friday to help Marg celebrate her retirement!
And speaking of “thank yous” we can’t thank Marg enough from the patrons, volunteers and staff. The sheer volume of people in the library for Marg’s celebration reflects her contribution to the community. Marg is well known for being super helpful and going above and beyond the call of duty. She is always at the desk with a smile and ready help. She will drop everything to help find a book, research a project, train and impart the wisdom of 19+ years on the job, or show someone the insider tricks to using the printer! She’s been known to be a mobile library on occasion and pick up or deliver books around town. Marg will be missed at the library and we wish her the absolute best on her retirement! Enjoy your time Marg!
Please note that the library will be closed Sunday, July 1, 2018 and Monday, July 2, 2018 for the July long weekend. Don’t forget your sunscreen…and books!
