We know that you wait all year for this and finally the day has come! Join us at the 9th annual library Quiz Night on Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Pinawa Community Centre!
** Doors open at 6:30 p.m., quiz begins at 7:30 sharp. You’ll want to arrive in plenty of time to get yourselves organized.
Note a change this year: Early Bird team registration fee (before September 23, 2019) is $120.00 per team. Registration fee after September 24, 2019 is $160.00 per team.
The evening consists of a main trivia game and side games, plus a 50/50 draw. This is a low-stress, high-fun event! It has the feel of a social without the loud music. You’re never asked for an answer as an individual; questions are answered on paper by your team, with team scores being updated periodically.
There is a cash bar selling beer, wine, pop and bottled water. No outside alcohol is allowed, but outside food is encouraged!
Remember to bring some yummy snacks for your team. Let us say up front that the markers cannot be bribed with samples of your delicious food, but we sure don’t mind if you try! The array of hors d’oeuvres has become legendary as teams strive to outdo each other each year. Or keep your snack selection simple if you wish, potato chips and popcorn work as well!
Teams consist of up to 8 adults (18+). If you aren’t on a team but want to be – let us know! We will be making up random teams as well so no one has to miss out!
Quiz Night is a fundraiser for the Library, helping us to maintain our level of service to the changing needs of the community.
