Take a minute to check out our new online reader advisory magazine – another awesome service offered to the patrons of the PPL. BookBrowse has been providing this curated resource for fiction and non-fiction for more than 2 decades. You can customize your searches by author or title “read-a-likes”, genre, themes and more. You will have access to lists of the most prestigious award winners – current and past, book excerpts, reviews, biographies, new release announcements, books clubs and more. You can opt in to a free newsletter with information and articles about some of the best current books. There is something for everyone on BookBrowse. The site is integrated with our own website so that you can immediately know whether the book you are interested in is available at the PPL.
Halloween is fast approaching and has us all wondering – will this be the year that the kids don’t need to wear snowsuits over their costumes??
