2 Positions Available
The Pinawa Public Library is committed to providing an inclusive and diverse environment and encourages candidates of all backgrounds to apply
→ 1st position
- 32 hours a week for 10 week period
- Government Funding stipulates employee must be between 15 and 30 years of age
- Position begins June 20, 2022
→ 2nd position
- 16 to 25 hours a week over months of July and August
- Must be frequently available to work Monday to Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons
- Available to work on a casual basis over 2022/2023 school year
- Young Workers Readiness Certificate needed for workers 14 – 15 years of age
- The Young Workers Readiness Certificate Course is free and takes 1.5-2 hours to complete. It is available at Young Worker Readiness Certificate Course (safemanitoba.com).
- Position begins with training in June
The preferred applicant will possess:
Demonstrated interest in the library, good communication skills (verbal and written), basic computer skills, ability to work with the public, skill in planning and delivering children’s programs, ability to work cooperatively with staff and volunteers as well as independently with minimal supervision
